HeyBud: Conceptualization for Smokables

Overview:
HeyBud is one of three in-house brands I developed as part of a broader strategy to segment the market. This approach was designed to target different consumer groups by creating unique brands for distinct product categories. HeyBud, in particular, was aimed at filling a gap in the company’s offerings, appealing to consumers who value locally sourced and handcrafted cannabis products. The brand’s slogan, "Authentically Handcrafted," reflects this focus, catering to customers who prioritize natural, high-quality smokables like joints, blunts, pre-rolls, flower, etc.

I wanted to achieve a crafted aesthetic with these labels to highlight the brand’s connection to locally sourced cannabis products, hand packaged in small batches. Though the brand was still in the concept phase when I left the company, I believe the groundwork was laid for HeyBud to establish a clear identity for itself.
